My boys just had birthdays…Davis is 3…Mac is 2. Between that and a few trips and this past weekend being Mothers Day…we have had a beautiful April and May.
It is so exciting to watch my boys growing. They are so totally different in every way imaginable. Davis is extremely sensitive. And with sensitivity comes a lot of fits, crying, and frowns. But, I can tell he is my introvert…my deeply thoughtful child who will gently and tenderly pull your face to his with his dark little hands and kiss you so sweetly it will make you melt. My mother describes it as “healing kisses.” His dark slate eyes make you want to know every thought he ponders and he is very, very fond of books, horses, and bicycle rides.
Mac on the other hand is mischievous and a load of laughter and smiles. He will pitch a fit with the best of them…he is now 2. But he will turn it off in a second if I play with him or tickle him. He eats like a MANIAC. A maniac, I tell you! He shoves food in his mouth until he can’t cram anymore in. I’ve never seen anything like it. He is our clown and he is fond of eating, motorcycles, and eating….and dressing nice.
So happy I get to be my kids mother! It is hard but so wonderful altogether…
Thanks for letting me do a big photo dump! I hope your weekend was lovely!
